Dr Shannon Woodcock is a lecturer at La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia. She is a specialist in the history of socialism and post-socialism in Romania and Albania, with a focus on the role of racism and intolerance in the formation of Romanian national identity.Her published work is primarily in the field of anti-Romani violence in Romania and Europe, as well as changes in the practice and public articulation of sexualities post 1990.
